Ariz Pirojshaw Khambata, founder and chairman of Rasna, passed away on Saturday. The company has informed about this. A statement issued by Rasna Group said that 85-year-old Khambata passed away on Saturday. Please tell that Ariz was also the chairman of Khambata Benevolent Trust and Rasna Foundation. According to the Rasna Group, Khambata had made important contributions in the field of Indian industry, business and social service. He was the former president of the Parsi organization WAPIZ and also the former president of the Ahmedabad Parsi community.
“Khambata made significant contributions to social development through service to Indian industry, trade and society,” the statement said. Khambata is best known for its popular domestic beverage brand Rasna, which is sold across 18 lakh retail outlets in the country. Rasna is now the largest manufacturer of soft drinks available in dry-concentrate form in the world.
