According to the information, the plane hit the hill due to bad weather. The plane caught fire after the accident that happened before landing. The passenger plane ATR-72 that crashed near Pokhara is being told of Yeti Airlines. Pictures and videos posted on social media platforms showed plumes of smoke rising from the crash site. A rescue team has been deployed at the crash site by helicopter.

Earlier in the month of May last year, a Tara Air plane had crashed in Pahari Mustang district due to bad weather. 22 people died tragically in this incident. Officials had said that due to bad weather, the plane had turned right instead of left. This caused the plane to hit the mountains and crash.
