Plane Crash in Nepal: A 72-seater passenger plane has crashed on the runway at Pokhara International Airport in Nepal. Rescue work is on. Currently the airport is closed. Details awaited.
Giving information about the accident, Yeti Airlines spokesperson Sudarshan Bartaula said that a total of 68 passengers and four crew members were on board the Yeti Airlines aircraft. The plane crashed between the old airport and Pokhara International Airport.

According to the information, the plane hit the hill due to bad weather. The plane caught fire after the accident that happened before landing. The passenger plane ATR-72 that crashed near Pokhara is being told of Yeti Airlines. Pictures and videos posted on social media platforms showed plumes of smoke rising from the crash site. A rescue team has been deployed at the crash site by helicopter.
Earlier in the month of May last year, a Tara Air plane had crashed in Pahari Mustang district due to bad weather. 22 people died tragically in this incident. Officials had said that due to bad weather, the plane had turned right instead of left. This caused the plane to hit the mountains and crash.
