In Khandwa, a case of converting a Hindu youth into a Muslim has come to the fore. After five months, this young man reached the police station on Thursday to complain about the alim of a mosque. The young man told that when he was upset due to unemployment, Aalim brainwashed him to convert to Islam. The name of this young man is Akshay Gaur, who changed his name to Mohammad Faheem as soon as he changed his religion. On the persuasion of family and friends, he has become a Hindu again after drinking Gangajal.
Akshay alleges that he came under the influence of Alim’s words. From reading Namaz, he started adopting the ways of Islam. When he put his changed name Mohammad Faheem on social media, then his Hindu friends advised me to return to Hinduism. Then he realized his mistake. He reverted back to Hinduism. Akshay reached the Moghat police station with his father Govind Gaur and filed a complaint against the Imam of the mosque. The police is investigating the matter
Akshay, 24, living in Prabhu Prem Puram Colony of Khandwa, has studied engineering. He said that he was sitting in Nagchun Talab Park five months ago due to unemployment. At the same time he met the Aalim of Noorani Masjid and tried to know the problem. During this, he told the solution of the problem in the religion of Islam. Advised to leave Hinduism and adopt Islam. The young man came to his words and accepted Islam religion and started offering Namaz. The young man posted a status on Facebook writing his name as Mohammad Faheem Khan. Then friends approached him. Then he was advised to return to Hinduism. When the young man agreed, his father sent him to Indore for some time. When this young man became completely normal, he returned to Khandwa.

The youth’s father Govind Gaur is a teacher. He has also confirmed that his son had been influenced by Islam sometime back. Even at home, he used to advise all the family members to accept Islam. He also used to offer Namaz in a room in his own house. He also used to wear an Islamic cap on his head. He said that this thing had settled in his mind that by accepting Islam religion one gets Jannat, otherwise everyone will go to Jahannum. Worried about this, his father sent him to his relatives outside Khandwa. The father says that now he is fine and has fully converted to Hinduism. The youth has given an application to lodge a complaint against the Imam of the mosque.
Purification done with Gangajal in Khandwa
In Khandwa, workers of Hinduist organization Mahadev Garh purified Akshay with Ganges water. Taking the young man along, he reached the police. The youth gave a written application to the police demanding action against the Imam of the mosque. Guardian of Mahadev Garh Ashok Paliwal said that a big racket of religious conversion is going on in the whole country. There are many cases in which many youths have been prevented from converting to Islam. These activists demanded strict action on the in-depth investigation of this entire matter.
Case will be registered after investigation
After receiving the complaint, the police have registered the case. Khandwa CSP Poonam Singh Yadav said that a person named Akshay had lodged a complaint against Maulana Amin of Noorani Masjid in Khandwa that he converted him by luring him. On the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused Maulana under the Religious Freedom Act and inciting religious sentiments. At present Maulana is absconding. He will be arrested soon.
What does the law of Madhya Pradesh say
The Freedom of Religion Act was enacted in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly this year. It is mandatory for the person who voluntarily converts religion or the person who converts his religion to inform the District Magistrate 60 days in advance. If the religious person who converts does not tell the DM, then there is a provision of three to five years in jail and a fine of Rs 50,000. This law was brought to curb Love Jihad. There is a provision of imprisonment of one to ten years and a fine of up to one lakh rupees for its violation.
