In view of the increasing outbreak of dengue, the demand for distribution of kerosene at ration shops is increasing rapidly. On the other hand, the Food and Logistics Department has said that it has only the remaining and reserve stock. On this, the state government has sought 55 thousand liters of kerosene oil from the central government.
At this time the outbreak of mosquito borne diseases is increasing. People are particularly troubled by dengue and malaria. In such a situation, people are being advised to kill mosquitoes and their larvae. The health department is also saying that if you see water accumulating around the house, sprinkle kerosene i.e. kerosene there.
The use of cooler should also be avoided in this season. Kerosene kills both the mosquito and its larvae. Since kerosene has stopped being available at ration shops, people are demanding that its distribution be resumed.
On the other hand, the ration vendors have also demanded in this regard by going to Delhi. They say that kerosene should be distributed in this season. The central government should issue the quota while approving it. On the other hand, the Food and Logistics Department is preparing to sell the kerosene kept in the reserve. The remaining kerosene of the year 2021 has also been kept in some districts only. It will also be sold but only to the malaria department. That too at commercial rates. In such a situation, the common people are not going to get any special benefit from it.
Malaria department sprinkles it by mixing Paratham in it. Now Special Secretary, Food and Logistics Department, Divya Prakash has written a letter to the Ministry of Petroleum and Gas asking them to provide 55 thousand liters of kerosene.
