The yatra left from Bodarli at seven in the morning. After reaching Center Xavier School at 10 am, the yatra will rest. Rahul and the passengers accompanying him will walk seven km. The journey will resume at 4 pm. A meeting has been organized in Transport Nagar. Rahul will rest the night in Jhiri.
Rahul said- Our goal is to remove fear from the minds of people
Rahul said in Burhanpur that many thanks to all of you for this loving welcome. The people who came with us from Maharashtra will return. He organized the yatra very well in Maharashtra. A very good message went to Maharashtra and India. This journey was started in Kanyakumari. The people of the opposition had said that India is three thousand 600 km long. It cannot be fixed on foot. We have come to Madhya Pradesh. 370 km will run here. This tricolor will reach Srinagar and we are not afraid.
Rahul said that there are two-three goals behind the yatra. This journey is against the hatred, violence and fear that is being spread in India. This is the way of BJP. First, spread fear. Spreading fear among youth, farmers and common people. When fear spreads, they turn it into violence. Violence is a form of fear. One who is not afraid, cannot even commit violence. The one who is afraid, only he does violence. Our goal is to eliminate fear. There is no need to fear anyone in this India.
The dreams of the youth cannot be fulfilled
Rahul called Rudra, a five-year-old child, on the stage. He said that Rudra is five years old. He wants to become a doctor. It has made its dream come true. It will work for him. Rudra’s dream cannot be fulfilled in today’s India. I am not speaking like this. I have been walking for seventy days. Met youths like Rudra in every state. Some want to become an engineer, some a doctor, some a lawyer. All the schools have become privatized. Lakhs of rupees will have to be withdrawn from the pocket. After that Rudra will come to know that the blood and sweat of the parents got him education. He will not be able to do medicine and will start working as a laborer. We do not want India of unemployed. The entire industry is in the hands of three-four industrialists. Airport, telephone and railway are going in their hands. We want justice. The poor should get justice. The third thing is inflation.
We will listen to Mann Ki Baat, we will keep our point for 15 minutes
Rahul told about the yatra that we have taken the first step in Madhya Pradesh. You will have a lot of conversation. Will hug you Will understand the problems of the farmers. We walk for seven-eight hours everyday. We don’t speak our mind. We listen to the mind of the farmers. What is the mind of the youth, sisters, laborers and businessmen, we listen throughout the day. Then at seven o’clock in the evening we keep our point for fifteen minutes. It will be a lot of fun. Congress workers will feel a little tired. You see, lakhs of people will join this journey. Will show it by walking in the whole of Madhya Pradesh.
Priyanka will also join the yatra
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will also participate in Rahul’s visit to Madhya Pradesh. Priyanka Gandhi will be seen walking with Rahul for four days. Priyanka Gandhi will also join Rahul’s visit for the next four days. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh tweeted in this regard. He wrote that the Yatra will enter Madhya Pradesh near Burhanpur on Wednesday for the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi will join the yatra there for four days.
Fourth member of Nehru-Gandhi family to come to Burhanpur
Rahul Gandhi is the fourth member of the Nehru-Gandhi family to come to Burhanpur. Indira Gandhi came to Burhanpur 41 years ago in 1980. Stayed here for three days. The most important thing is that Indira Gandhi addressed the election meeting in the light of torch at 2 o’clock in the same village from where Yatra took entry in MP. In the year 1980, Indira Gandhi reached Burhanpur during the Lok Sabha elections. She had come here for the election campaign of former MP Thakur Shiv Kumar Singh. During this she continued campaigning in Burhanpur and Nepanagar for three days. Millions of people stood on the streets to see and hear him. In this election, the then MP candidate Thakur Shiv Kumar Singh defeated senior BJP leader Kushabhau Thackeray. Former Prime Minister Rahul Gandhi and former Congress President Sonia Gandhi have also come to Burhanpur.
386 km journey in MP
Bharat Jodo Yatra will cover 386 km in Madhya Pradesh in 12 days. During this, the yatra will start from Burhanpur, Khadwa, Khargone, Indore, Ujjain and Agar Malwa districts.
