Medium Range Ballistic Missile Agni-III was successfully test launched on Wednesday from APJ Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha. The Ministry of Defense gave this information. This successful test was done as part of a routine user training launch conducted under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command. According to the information received, the launch was carried out for a predetermined range and all the operational parameters of the system were validated.

Entire Pakistan and half of China comes under its jurisdiction. The size of this missile is also very big. Its length is 17 meters and diameter is 2 meters. Which is capable of covering a distance of five kilometers in a second. The 50-tonne missile is powered by a two-stage engine that runs on solid fuel. This missile is capable of carrying a 1.5 tonne warhead with it.
